Our En Suite Rooms
Our accommodation boasts 3 superior King Rooms, 1 Small standard double, 6 Standard King Rooms, 2 Suites and 2 twin rooms, all en-suite with walk in showers. All our rooms are dog friendly.
The building was originally a Dowager’s House and not purpose built as an Inn. Our stairs creak, as do some of our floors, the walls aren’t symmetrical and the sash windows might be a bit stiff. But this is part of its charm.
All our rooms can accommodate 2 adults. sadly we can not accommodate children in the hotel rooms.
When there is a party being held in our Function Room there will be excessive noise in the suites directly above so check with our Reception team who will try to allocate an alternative room.
As we are a Country Inn all rooms are above something, whether it be the bar, restaurant or the kitchen, so there will be noise coming from below during our opening hours.
We have listed all our rooms and have given you an honest appraisal of each room so you know what to expect.
All rooms have TV, tea & coffee making facilities and free Wi-Fi.
These rooms retain the charm, character and the antiquity of the old building.
With open countryside views to the front of the Inn,
Lovely decor, slightly smaller than the King Doubles with an en suite walk-in shower.
( some noise can be heard from the cellar fans )
Good sized rooms with an ensuite and walk in showers
Room 6, Room 7 and Room 8
These three rooms are slightly smaller .
Room 9 and Room 10
These are good sizes suites with walk in shower-en suites. Each has a King bed and a sofa in the living area
There is a door separating the main bedroom from the living area to allow versatility of the accommodation. As the suites are above our function room, please check with hotel team if there are any parties on the night of your stay as it will be extremely noisy.
Room 11 and Room 12
An interesting combination, there is an interconnecting door which allows residents access if sharing with friends and/or family. They each have a walk in shower
These rooms are located above our kitchen.
Located on the ground floor it has direct access, via a patio door, onto the front garden of the Inn and is one of our best “dog friendly” rooms. Complete with a flat screen television and small en suite shower room.
Another “dog friendly” room on the ground floor with twin beds and an en suite shower room.
( Some people can hear noise from the freezer units )
